No matter what you enjoy eating, Laramie, Wyoming restaurants are sure to please your palate. You can find everything from budget choices to fine dining experiences and plenty of casual restaurants in between. If you choose a chain establishment, you will always know exactly what you’re getting, but there are plenty of locally owned places that offer up something a little different when you want to walk on the wild side.
For American fare, you can check out any one of the locally owned restaurants in town. Shari’s of Laramie is a fast food style place with burgers and fries, or you can get a bit fancier with The Overland on East Ivinson Avenue. For the in-between, there’s Jacques’ Third Street Bar and Grill, the Chuck Wagon Restaurant, or the Beanery. For dessert, check out Cherries Ice Cream and Grill. If you crave something a little different, there is also Jeffrey’s Bistro or Hal’s Barbecue.
Brew Pubs are very popular dining destinations, too. Laramie offers several places where you can enjoy great pub fare and a well-crafted beer. Be sure to try Elmer Lovejoy’s Bar and Grill, Library Restaurant and Brewing, or Altitude Chophouse and Brewery. You’ll find great steaks, hearty sandwiches, creative entrees, and cold beers.
If you like to seek out international fare, there are several restaurants from which to choose. Bernie’s Mexican Restaurant, Chelos, Fat Burrito, and Corona Village all offer spicy and delicious Mexican lunches and dinners. The Teriyaki Bowl serves fast-food Japanese cuisine, or you can sit down for a Chinese dinner at The Mandarin or the New Great Wall. O’Dwyer’s is a popular spot for diners that crave true Irish fare. Of course, there is also great pizza at Grand Avenue Pizza. Whatever you’re craving, you will find it in Laramie restaurants!
