Get the Whole Wyoming Experience at a Dude Ranch

There’s no doubt that many people immediately think of horses and wide-open spaces when they think of Wyoming. There really is plenty of both, and you can enjoy them to your heart’s content if you choose to stay at a dude ranch during your Laramie, Wyoming vacation. There are several spread across this great state, and two in particular that are either in Laramie or located nearby. Not only do these ranches offer days spent under the wide blue sky with other horse lovers just like you, but there is quite a bit of luxury to be experienced, too.

The Vee Bar Guest Ranch is located in Laramie, and it is run by Carla and Jim “Lefty” Cole. Their ranch can accommodate up to thirty people in nine log cabins, and they welcome large groups and parties to stay with them. The Vee Bar Guest Ranch is located about twenty miles outside of the town of Laramie, and you can see the Snowy Range Mountains from the cabins on the property. The beautiful setting is perfect for romantic getaways, as well as families that like to add a little action to their vacation time. In fact, children are so welcome that those under the age of six stay free.

The ranch offers all of the amenities that you will find at a hotel, and then some. There are excellent meals served throughout the day, laundry services, massage services, Internet access, sporting opportunities, and it’s also handicapped accessible. Within a short drive, you can also find hot springs and golfing.

The cabins are exceedingly comfortable, with premium bedding, gas fireplaces, decks overlooking the river, refrigerators, and coffeemakers. You will have everything you need to enjoy a Laramie, Wyoming vacation that is action packed and still relaxing.
